    View FAQs

    1. Is there a particular format required when entering or uploading an electronic resume?

Yes. The following file types can be uploaded to the fedex.com career site using text and plain text:

    • doc/.docx (preferred format)
    • .xls/.xlsx
    • .pdf
    • .ppt/.pptx
    • .jpg
Simple resume formats are best. Use a standard address format below your name, and list each phone number on its own line. For best results, avoid using the following formatting options: graphics, italics, tabs, special characters, vertical and horizontal lines, text boxes, two-column formats, and resumes that resemble newspapers or newsletters.

Your resume will be automatically converted to ASCII, and you may lose some formatting if you enter your resume manually into the system. If you upload your resume, the upload feature will automatically parse information from your resume and save it as part of your Personal Profile.

    2. How often are the job listings updated on the fedex.com careers page?

Job listings are updated throughout the day; check back frequently for the most up-to-date listing. To receive alerts when new jobs post:

    • In the Manage Your Career Profiles section, select the appropriate operating company.
    • Log in to access your profile and job seeker tools, or create an account if you’re a first time visitor.
    • After logging in, click Search Agent Manager from your list. From here you can manage current search agents or create new ones.

    3. Can I view all the job openings throughout FedEx within this one site?

Yes. When you access careers.fedex.com, you can view job openings across the FedEx enterprise in the United States and Canada.

    4. Can I use the same profile on the career site to apply to any of the FedEx companies?

No. You must create a profile for each FedEx company.

    5. What is the best way to search for a job that is a good fit for my skills and work experience?

You can search for jobs that match your skills and work experience by entering a keyword in the quick search, by browsing jobs, and/or by using a job search agent.

    6. FedEx has multiple companies and legal entities. How do I know which of the many FedEx related companies I am applying to?

Each job listing clearly states the name of the company with the open position.

    7. How do I view communications that have been emailed to me?

Communications are sent to the email address noted on your profile; messages could go to your Spam or Junk folder, so be sure to check it regularly. In some operating company profiles, you will see a Communications section, in which all Communications sent to you are stored. To view the body of the message, simply click on the subject line and the full message will be displayed.
